Opportunity Profile:
Mylan is seeking a part-time Intern for the time period of April through December 2009. This position will provide engineering support in order to add, improve and maintain the Morgantown facilities, buildings, equipment and grounds. Assist in engineering design and analysis for new and retrofit installations, and ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting utilizing basic engineering disciplines. Assist in equipment qualification activities including: writing, reviewing, and executing qualification documents. Performs simple drafting and engineering office work; operates a computer using a variety of software, including CAD, database management, and spreadsheet programs. Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment. Assist in development and engineering of systems and recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Perform basic ladder logic controls design and troubleshooting activities. Relocation not provided.

Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in an Electrical/Electronic Engineering Discipline. A very strong preference will be given to those demonstrating multidisciplinary capabilities and/or the particular disciplinary specialty advertised at this time. Must have a learning knowledge of basic Engineering disciplines with an emphasis on electronic, instrumentation, hardware, PLCs, software. Must be capable of developing the ability to, under close supervision and with extensive guidance and instruction from others, use of the following engineering disciplines, project management concepts, and associated tools: Architectural and layout and any associated tools and/or software. Civil, structural, site, site utility and any associated tools and/or software. Mechanical, HVAC, equipment, piping, and controls and any associated tools and/or software. Electrical, power, lighting, data systems, and specialty systems and any associated tools and/or software. Electronic, instrumentation, hardware, PLC, BMS, and any associated tools and/or software. AutoCad and manual drawing preparation and interpretation and any associated tools and/or software. Project management organization, control, and reporting and any associated tools and/or software. Must be proficient in Microsoft Exel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Project.
