POSITION PURPOSE:
The successful candidate will support routine activities of Analytical involving testing and inspection of components (APIs, excipients, etc.), intermediates and finished products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs testing and inspections of various components, intermediates and finished products. Develops expertise in physical and chemical testing of adhesives and adhesive products. Analyzes materials to GMP standards using various laboratory instrumentation and techniques. Documents activities and checks documentation of other laboratory personnel. Assists in the investigation of aberrant results. Provides written summary reports of such investigations. Calibrates laboratory equipment as necessary. Performs validation testing according to approved protocols as required. Trains new laboratory personnel on test methods as required. May act as a backup to the laboratory manager or supervisor as required.

Qualifications:
Limited use and/or application of technical principles, theories, and concepts. Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope. Minimum of 1 year of experience with BS. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
