Opportunity Profile:
POSITION PURPOSE Provides administrative support to the Security Department. Performs routine general administrative and/or operational support activities. Provides general administrative assistance, performs data entry and assists in the maintenance, completion and drafting of various documents and correspondence. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Formatting and drafting memos, letters and other correspondence; screening and returning phone calls; typing and filing; scanning and archiving data, reports, etc..; transcribing data; handling various correspondence, etc. 2. Ensures that daily mail is sorted and distributed properly. 3. Coordinates signature and document tracking for numerous reports and documents 4. Coordinates meetings for various topics. Includes scheduling, reserving conference room space and equipment, notifying people by either memo, e-mail or phone, and takes minutes as needed. 5. Maintains and coordinates various meeting and project calendars. 6. Assists in preparation of documents and reports as needed. 7. Makes travel arrangements for staff as directed. 8. Assists with project management. 9. Answers phones and directs correspondence as needed. 10. Coordinates purchase order generation, tracking and receipt of supplies 11. Assists in the preparation and formatting of training materials and presentations. 12. Performs data entry or data verification. 13. Provides reception related duties for Security office to include screening visitors. 14. Coordinates time reporting, vacation requests, paycheck distributions, etc.. 15. Perform other duties as assigned. 16. Assists in budget management and reporting as needed.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 2 years clerical/administrative experience required. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. Position requires basic reading, writing, math, judgment, and communication skills. PC skills (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets) and clerical skills (e.g. phone skills, filing, etc…) are preferred. Expected to learn internal procedures and policies on-the-job. Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). An Associates Degree /Bachelors Degree Preferred.
