This exciting position in our Enterprise Applications department will be responsible for the functional support and/or development of functionality in the SAP Sales and Distribution area.

The SAP Materials Management (MM) Specialist will also be responsible for:

• Configuration of SAP Materials Management Module.

• Analyze and solve complex system problems as part of the overall SAP Materials Management support process. Areas of responsibility include Material Master, Procurement, MRP and Inventory Management.

• Provide oversight and/or participation in projects involving development and deployment of SAP Materials Management.

• Follow appropriate change control procedures including the creation and ownership of Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, and Testing.

• Provide coaching and consulting to business owners on SAP MM solutions.

• Document issues and solutions as problems are addressed.

• Understand integration points within SAP and other systems to fully grasp impact of all proposed system changes.

• Work directly with Business Owners and Development team to prioritize issues and projects within the Materials Management area.

• Communicate with users, business analysts, and information technology personnel regarding issue resolution and the impact of system changes.

• Proactively identify areas of continuous improvement to reduce overall support requirements.

• Assist with the development of End-User SAP Training for the Materials Management functionality.

• Stay abreast of new functionality offered by SAP in the Materials Management area, to take advantage of enhancements as they become available.

• Assist in the training of new users.

A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline, plus 5 years relevant experience, or MS/MBA Degree with 3 years experience is required. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
