Opportunity Profile:
The Microbiologist will provide testing on finished product, raw materials, equipment surfaces, air, potable water, and purified water. Provide scientific evaluation support for all manufacturing processes and data gernerated by contract laboratories. Additional responsibilities include reviewing paperwork and documentation from microbiological assistants and other microbiologists, perform analytical investigations, prepare microbiological media, maintain laboratory culture collection and perform routine laboratory maintenance, and perform and review maintenance and checks on microbiology equipment.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a B.S. degree in Microbiology or Biology with 1-2 years experience in a Pharmaceutical Industry. Must possess knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures, USP regulations, Microbiological Testing Procedures, cGMP and OSHA regulations. Must possess strong analytical skills, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills. Must posses excellent communication, writing, reading, organizational and computer skills; including knowledge of Excel, Word, and Lotus Notes.
