Opportunity Profile:
We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer in our Receiving and Warehouse Department at our Morgantown, WV facility. This position will work to improve existing conditions and enhance overall performance in all warehouse and packaging operations by seeking new and resourceful ways to increase efficiency and reduce overall costs. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to developing and analyzing efficiency flowcharts, performing cost/benefit and savings analyses, evaluating existing and potential products and procedures, conducting capacity and constraint analyses, developing comparison criteria and recommending improvement strategies and follow-up measures, managing warehouse and packaging projects focused on results and implementation, facilitating progressive change aimed at stream-lining processes, assisting warehouse and packaging personnel in problem solving, supporting the development of systems designed to improve output, safety, quality, work-flow, facility layout and overall efficiency, facilitating departmental budget meetings, determining labor requirements based on departmental demand and potential growth, documenting and validating all capital and general expense requirements, serving as replacement for absent warehouse and packaging supervisors, establishing new warehouse and packaging SOP’s and providing technical support for SOP revisions, reviewing projects for compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations and cGMP’s, and performing other duties as assigned.

Reporting Structure:


Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field plus a minimum of 3 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry or minimum of 2 years of experience with a Master of Science Degree is required. Must possess knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP’s, DEA, DOT and OSHA. Knowledge of engineering principles is required. Strong analytical, project management, writing and communication and presentation skills are essential with the ability to write concise and conclusive reports. Must possess compute skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Visio, Lotus Notes and SAP functionality.
