Opportunity Profile:
The Cost Analyst will coordinate cost accounting processes within the North America region to ensure consistency. This role will oversee the completion of reports and analyses for the monthly forecast and Annual Budget and Strategic Plan processes. Responsible for supporting complex accounting and financial analysis functions, using established policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Qualified applicants will possess considerable accounting-related knowledge to include complete acquaintance with and understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job, and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. Must possess the ability to analyze current situations with a focus on process improvement.
Must possess a detailed understanding of the application of Cost Accounting principles, theories and concepts, working knowledge of industry practices required. Significant database skills including Access and ERP system (SAP preferred) are highly advantageous. Advanced Excel skills are required.
Position functions semi-autonomously, work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting or business related field plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience is required, CPA preferred. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
