Opportunity Profile:
The Senior Chemist will provide guidance for other Chemists and Senior Chemists in the Quality Technical Services Group and Quality Operations, test routine and non-routine laboratory samples and ensure that work is properly scheduled. Test drug substance, drug product and stability samples in support of alternate raw material submissions, and FDA comment letter responses. Conduct Analytical Technology Transfer with Mylan subsidiaries and third party affiliates. Perform analytical method development and validation semi-independently with minimal guidance from a Scientist or Assistant Laboratory Manager.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a B.S. degree in Science/Life Science and four years minimum in a chemistry laboratory environment. Must possess knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures, USP regulations, Analytical Testing Techniques, cGMP, and OSHA regulations/procedures. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.
