We are currently seeking a Finance Intern for summer 2010 to work at our Corporate Headquarters located in Canonsburg, PA (Southpointe).

The selected individual will primarily be responsible for assisting Corporate Finance in the areas of corporate accounting, consolidations, external reporting and technical accounting. They will also rotate through other Corporate Finance functions (Financial Planning and Analysis, Internal Audit, etc.) in order to obtain a basic understanding of the duties within each operation. Specific special projects may also be assigned.

Additional duties will include:

• Assist in the preparation of the Company’s quarterly SEC filing

• Assist in the preparation of the Earnings Release, certain conference call material and other items used in preparation for the Earnings Release call

• Assist in the review of certain monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages submitted by the operating subsidiaries

• Perform certain monthly account reconciliations

• Research and assist in the adoption of new accounting pronouncements

• Assist in the resolution of complex technical accounting and reporting issues

• Perform contract review procedures examining contracts for guarantees, warranties, derivatives or consolidation issues

• Coordinate with foreign locations regarding the completion of statutory audits

• Interact with the external auditors in facilitating completion of quarterly reviews

• Assist in the preparation of 11Ks and Pension Plan reports

• Assist in the preparation of equity or debt registrations and/or other SEC filings

• Assist in the consolidation of Mylan’s subsidiaries

Qualifications:
Applicants for this position must have completed their sophomore or junior year of college at the end of this current Semester and must be enrolled in college for the Fall Semester. Applicants should be enrolled in a related field of study.
