Opportunity Profile:
We are currently seeking motivated interns to join our team for an exciting education opportunity in our Chemistry Department.
The Chemistry Intern will:
Operate laboratory equipment including, but not limited to, analytical balance, pH meter, dissolution apparatus, particle size analyzer, titrators, and UV spectrophotometers under the direction of a supervisor.
Prepare solutions (i.e. buffers, mobile phases, diluents) and samples as per prescribed procedures.
Assist in the calibration and record keeping of laboratory equipment.
Calculate raw data by calculator or computer.
Perform general cleaning and maintenance of laboratory.

Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will currently be enrolled in a degree seeking program at an accredited university pursuing a degree in Chemistry or related scientific field.
Must be proficient in most Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
The successful candidate will possess a basic knowledge of and chemistry and be analytical and able to solve problems. Extreme attention to detail and the ability to take instruction in an oral and written manner are required.
Must be able to work flexible daytime hours between 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday -Friday
