Opportunity Profile:
We currently have opening within our Medical Unit for an Intern.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to administer occupational health services designed to optimize the physical and psychological wellness of employees, assist with new employee physicals (i.e. scheduling, vision screenings, EKG’s, paperwork), schedule employee appointments (physician, yearly physical exam, mammogram, lab work, chest x-ray, and ultrasounds), assist with entering lab and radiology results into the medical software program, monitor employee vital signs, blood glucose and urinalysis, shadow the physician during patient visits and collaborate with other department personnel on scheduled tasks and projects.
This individual will also provide basic administrative duties such as filing, copying, faxing and answering telephones.

Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will be a Junior or Senior student pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
CPR and AED Certification required.
Candidates must possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Lotus Notes is required.
